1. Johdanto
Hammaslääkärin ammattissa oleellinen taito on kehittää osaamistaan työelämävuosina vielä valmistumisenkin jälkeen. Tähän on monia erilaisia keinoja kuten koulutustilaisuuksiin osallistuminen, alan lehtien lukeminen ja kollegojen kanssa keskustelu.
Yksi hyvä hammaslääketieteen tietolähde ovan oppikirjat. Tein oheisen listan hammaslääketieteen teoksista kartoittaakseni hieman, mistä kaikista aiheista on julkaistu minkä verran oppikirjoja. Projektin aikana yllätyin siitä, kuinka suuri määrä kattavia teoksia eri kliinisistä aiheista on julkaistu.
Listassa on joidenkin kirjojen kohdalla tähtisymboli (★) osoittamaan lähinnä sitä, että kirja vaikuttaa sisällöllisesti erityisen hyvältä.
Luettelo ei missään nimessä ole täysin kattava. Mikäli jokin tietty aihe erityisesti kiinnostaa, kannattaa vielä hakea siihen liittyviä kirjoja erikseen esimerkiksi Google-haulla.
